ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - If you're planning on heading down to the southern tier, plan some extra time into your trip.
It is a big weekend in Cattaraugus County, with more than 40,000
people expected in Ellicottville for the annual Fall Festival.
A record 300 vendors should make it a fun family event but
getting there will be the tough part.
Brian McFadden from the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce said, "We closed 219 tonight at 9 and there's a detour around the village. Keep an eye on your routes form Buffalo. Take an alternate. Watch the signs, there's lots of digital signs that show you which way to go."
The festival runs Saturday and Sunday and features food, arts, games and entertainment.
