Firefighters fight fire inside building

TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - While you slept, firefighters in the Town of Tonawanda rushed to a large fire inside a commercial building.

The fire started in a dumpster at Environmental Service Group Inc. on Wales Avenue, at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A hazardous materials team also responded to the scene, because the building contained dangerous chemicals.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
