Flower bouquet benefit for Hospice

DEPEW, N.Y. (WIVB) - Some are doing their part to support Hospice Buffalo.

They put together 34,000 flower bouquets at Sieck Florist in Depew.

More than 450 companies, schools, florists, hospitals and public buildings will be hosting bouquet sales.

Vice President of Hospice, Patrick Flynn said, "Well this is like the biggest fundraiser that we do for Hospice each year, and not only does it raise a lot of awareness for the organization, but we'll raise about a quarter million dollars through the sale as well."

"It helps with all the patient care that we provide, to over 600 patients a day right, here in our community," he also exclaimed.

Since 1987, the spring bouquet sale has raised nearly $3 million for Hospice Care in Erie County.
