CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - News 4 is learning more about the four people killed in a Sunday night crash.
The four victims have been identified as Viktor Shapiro, 18; Mark Brown, 19; Amanda Slisz, 16; and Megan Schnorr, 16.
At Strickler and County Roads in the Town of Clarence, friends gather to set up a makeshift memorial in honor of four victims, who will be deeply missed.
"I've never lost a friend before, especially four, all in one night," said Vlad Rushanov.
Early Monday morning, News 4 crews were with Rushanov when he went to the accident scene that claimed the lives of four teenagers in the Town of Clarence.
Later in the day Vlad went back, picking up peices from his friend's car that he plans to use for a mural. "No one wants to believe it, four people I saw almost three days ago, gone forever. All I've got left is a bunch of plastic and glass" said Vlad.
According to investigators, they are looking at speed as a factor, alcohol is not being said to have played a role. They are looking at speed because the driver did not stop at a stop sign, when they were heading north on Strickler Road.
According to the home owners who live near the accident scene, this is the fourth accident that they've had and this is the first fatality in eight years.
