PEMBROKE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A tragic chain of events claimed a life along a western New York roadway, Saturday morning.
After hitting a deer along the I-90 westbound in the Town of Pembroke, State Police say 33-year-old Julie Stratton's car became disabled in the passing lane.
A tractor trailer in the same lane then struck Stratton's car,
killing her instantly.
That driver, 45-year-old Thomas Wallace, was taken to United
Memorial Medical Center.
He is expected to recover from his injuries.
