BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Western New Yorkers who made a New Year's resolution to get a new job in 2010 won't want to miss the JOBSapalooza job fair, which is free and open to the public.
The 12th annual JOBSapalooza, sponsored by the University at Buffalo, gives Western New York job seekers the best opportunity to connect with more than 55 local employers who are hiring right now. They include Yahoo!, GEICO, People Inc., Blue Cross/Blue Shield, HSBC Bank, New York Life Insurance Company, New York Army National Guard, Wells Fargo, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, WNYO-TV and Seevast.
UB's JOBSapalooza job fair will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010) from 4-7 p.m. in the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. Details are available at http://www.buffalo.edu/news/10738.
Pre-fair workshops, also free and open to college students as well as the community, on "The Art of Interviewing" and "How to Make the Most of a Job Fair," will take place from 2-4 p.m. at the Convention Center.
