Man with cerebral palsy may win TV show

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A western New York native is hoping to catapult himself to super stardom with the help of the queen of talk and your votes.

26-year-old Zach Anner has quickly become an internet sensation. And he's hoping his next step is his own show on Oprah Winfrey's new network.

Zach grew up in the Buffalo area and now lives in Austin, Texas, but he's already developed quite a fan base across the country. At the urging of his mother, who still lives here, Zach made a YouTube video for Oprah's "Search for the Next T.V. Star" competition. Zach has cerebral palsy, and says he'd love to host his own travel show with a twist.

At last check, Zach was leading the competition with almost three million votes.
