Man found dead suffered head trauma

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police say a man found dead in Batavia over the weekend died from blunt force trauma.

Detectives now believe that 27-year-old James Maher may have suffered a fatal blow to the head from a fall.

But they're not yet ruling out foul play.

Maher was found dead Saturday night outside the Blockbuster store on Lewiston Road.
