BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - Hundreds of people hit the ground running for the world's only marathon that starts in one country and ends in another.
The annual Niagara Falls International Marathon began at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and wound through Buffalo, across the Peace Bridge, and into Niagara Falls, Canada.
Andrew Smith of Toronto finished first with a time of 2 hours, 27 minutes, 53 seconds.
