Niagara Falls expects blowing snow

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The snowfall started to pick up in Niagara Falls Friday morning, in the 5 a.m. hour. Some of the hardest hit areas are expected to be areas north of Buffalo, life Niagara and Orleans Counties.

Niagara Falls is expecting a heavy snowfall Friday, in addition to anticipating blowing snow. Our 4 Warn meteorologists say up to a foot of snow could accumulate in this area by Saturday morning.
