CATTARAUGUS RESERVATION, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police say a passenger train hit railroad ties on Monday that had been placed across the tracks on the Cattaraugus Reservation.

No one was injured, but the train took some damage.

Troopers say there are some signs on the reservation that say "No Mail, No Rail," in reference to a recently enacted law that threatens the Senecas' mail-order cigarette business.
