SCOTIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police divers have resumed their search for a 41-year-old man believed to have died with two other people when their small plane crashed and sank in the Mohawk River.

Authorities said the bodies of a 52-year-old man and an 11-year-old boy were recovered from the Piper Cherokee after it crashed following departure from a Schenectady County Airport Sunday afternoon.

Pat Montenaro witnessed the crash. "It seemed to be flying normally but low, tree level, wasn't making abnormal sound like there was any engine trouble or anything."

The plane sank in 30 feet of water and was found by people fishing from a boat nearby.
