BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Polls across western New York are now open for Election Day 2009.
News 4 will be following several hotly contested races.
In the race for Erie County Sheriff, Democrat John Glascott is looking to oust Republican Tim Howard from office.
Other races include Amherst Town Supervisor and Hamburg Supervisor.
