SILVER CREEK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Authorities are calling a public building damaged in this summer's flooding a total loss.

Silver Creek's Department of Public Works building partially collapsed.

FEMA condemned the building in August because flood damage caved in the roof and left the back wall unstable.

Federal money will pay for debris to be removed from the site.
