Recommendation for Statler to close

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - It could be the end of the line for Buffalo's historic Statler Towers.

On Monday the court appointed trustee for the financially troubled landmark is scheduled to appear before a United States bankruptcy judge.

According to Business First, they are expected to recommend the building be closed.

This recommendation comes after a futile effort by the group, New Buffalo Statler Redevelopment to raise the 1.3 million dollars needed to close the deal.
