Reverend honored for his actions

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - He's a man who's been there to comfort first responders as they deal with emergency situations.

Now those first responders are honoring Reverend Joe Bayne.

The Friends of Father Joe annual chicken barbecue was held Sunday afternoon at the Bowmansville Fire Company.

Organizers said the event is a way to thank Reverend Bayne for his work as chaplain of Erie County Emergency Services and the Buffalo Fire Department.
