WILSON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Two Wilson High School baseball coaches involved in a high profile hazing case will soon break their silence.
Thomas Baia and William Atlas will hold a news conference Wednesday to speak publicly for the first time since their arrest in April of last year.
Monday, the Niagara County District Attorney's Office dropped child endangerment charges against both men in connection with an alleged hazing incident on a team bus.

A decision for the coaches in the case of the Niagara County
hazing incident. The Niagara County district attorneys office
motioned Monday morning to Justice George Berger to have the
charges against the two former coaches dismissed and Justice Berger
did agree to do so.
Both Thomas Baia and William Atlas were facing three counts
each of endangering the welfare of a child. The charges stem from
an incident involving some older students who were on a school bus
that started to haze some younger players on the baseball team.
Those two students were charged with forcible touching and
second degree hazing. Their fate is still up in the air after
Justice Berger ruled to reserve his decision last week.
Until the Justice makes a decision on the penalty for the two
students, the DA's office will not comment as to why they motioned
to have the charges dismissed against the two former coaches.
