BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Students at a Buffalo alternative school are learning an important lesson while working to make one family's season a little brighter.
A group of teens at School Number 44 looking to educate fellow students about HIV and AIDS adopted a family affected by the disease.
ECMC connected them with a local mother infected with HIV, and they collected gifts to give her and her ten year old child for Christmas.
ECMC will be delivering the collected gifts to the adopted family.
