ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Erie County Sheriff's Deputies said a trio of 18-year-olds started a fast-moving grass fire in Elma with fireworks.
The teenagers are charged with illegal possession of fireworks and criminal mischief.
Authorities warn that windy weather and warm conditions mean small fires can get out of control quickly, if they're not closely monitored.
