Watch the Where in WNY Tops Shop-off!

AMHERST, NY (WIVB) - Four "Where in WNY?" finalists were randomly chosen LIVE by Wake Up’s Joe Arena and Victoria Hong on Monday. Over over 3,000 people entered and correctly filled out all 20 “Where in WNY” locations.

The 4 finalists were Ann Bates of Elma, Sue Altman of West Seneca, Louise Myers of Newfane and Phyllis Hager of Buffalo.

Thursday, the 4 finalists then competed in a 3 minute "Shop off" at Tops Friendly Markets on Maple Drive in Amherst.

The contestant with the most items in their cart – based upon monetary value - was determined the winner. Phyllis Hager from Buffalo had over $1,000 worth of items in her cart and was declared the winner. She won free groceries for a year from Tops.

The three runner-ups each won $300 gift cards from Tops.

All the food items collected by the contestants were then to be donated to the Food Bank of WNY.
