BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police are working to identify a woman who was struck and killed by an Amtrak train.
It happened late Friday afternoon behind Rich Products on the city's west side. The train was headed from New York's Penn Station to Toronto when the woman was hit.
Buffalo Chief of Detectives Dennis Richards said, "What we have is a Native-American female. No ID as of yet. We certainly don't have a name, but we're hoping to make contact with any family members. Native-American female in early 30's."
Several passengers aboard the train were interviewed. The train then continued to Toronto.
