TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Ensminger Road was shut down Thursday morning, right near the Erie County SPCA, after a van hit a woman walking down the road. According to the Town of Tonawanda police, the 19-year-old woman was hit around 5:30 a.m. near Ensminger and Milens Roads.

The driver of the van called police. The woman was brought to ECMC, complaining of head and back pain.

Town of Tonawanda police have launched a full accident investigation.
