BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - A Kenmore Avenue church is likely to get a new life in the near future as an apartment complex.
Creative Structures Solutions is planning to convert the Buffalo Covenant Church at 786 Kenmore, near Harvest Avenue, into residential and commercial space.
The company’s website says this adaptive reuse project would create a dozen apartments and 2,000 square feet of office space.
The Evangelical church announced it would shut down earlier this year due to declining membership.
CSS is developing the project as KLP Commons.
The business has experience transforming houses of worship into residential housing. They converted a structure on Parkside two years ago into a building known as the Lofts at Warwick.
