BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - It's back to school for most kids this week.
It was a girls day on Sunday for April and her daughter.
Isabella's first day of classes start Tuesday at Heim Elementary in Williamsville, so it's time for some back to school shopping at the Boulevard Mall in Amherst.
Shopper April Rivera said, "This is our second time. She's a first grader now. So we are getting all new clothes, new supplies, new back packs so she's very excited."
April says this time, Isabella is picking out everything on her own.
Isabella said, "I'm going to buy clothes."
"I have my coupon in my purse," said April.
And it paid off. April says with the coupon she saved $17 and with the coupon she got two free pairs of jeans for her daughter.

As you might imagine, she's not the only mother getting her child geared up for school.
Lisa Brill took three kids shopping on Sunday.
"I enjoy seeing them on the first day all dressed up and I know I'm sending them off they have all their school supplies their back packs and I know I've done my part," added Lisa.
The National Retail Federation expects back to school shoppers to spend about $21 billion this year, which is slightly more than last year.
April and Isabella are adding to that number.
They shopped and shopped some more and in the end,Isabella was all smiles, especially when she showed off her new favorite shirt.
"I like it because of the heart and the music note right there," said Isabella.
It can be a challenge deciding what to wear on the first day of school, but I'm guessing Isabella found her outfit.
