Commissioners vote Mendez out of job

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The long-time Executive Director of the Erie County Water Authority is soon to be unemployed come next month.
The authority will not re-new Robert Mendez's contract. The three member Board of Commissioners made the unanimous decision last week.
Mendez has served as executive director for 17 years. His contract expires in April.
