Bridge maintenance on Skyway Saturday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - There will be travel restrictions on the Skyway, on Saturday, July 28th. The New York State Department of Transportation will be doing bridge maintenance.

NY Route 5 eastbound (inbound), in the vicinity of Interstate 190, will be reduced to one lane beginning at 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 28. NY Route 5 ramp to Interstate 190 northbound, as well as the ramp to Pearl Street and Seneca Street, will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A detour will be posted to direct traffic to continue on NY Route 5 to Church Street, where traffic may then access Interstate 190 northbound from Church Street.
