ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - This week’s snowstorm has created some work for willing souls at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Buffalo Bills still need people, who are willing to help get rid of snow that is covering the seats of the stadium.
The say they are in a hurry with Sunday’s game fast approaching. News 4 checked in with organizers Saturday morning, and they'll be shoveling until 9 pm Saturday night.
Over 100,000 tons of snow was removed by Friday night.
Franchise owner Kevin Burns said, “With the storm, the timing of it you know Thursday morning we would have liked to have more time to deal with it, but unfortunately we have to do what we have to do.”
Burns said, “We have to clean off the seats and the floors and as you ladies can see we have a lot of ice back down here, so we will have to salt and bag and it's a whole process.”
Anyone who is interested can go to the Bills stadium with a photo ID and bring your own shovel. Organizers say you'll be issued a check and get it in the mail.
