WHEATFIELD, NY (WIVB) - A Canadian firm known for developing housing complexes is in the process of purchasing the former Summit Park Mall.
Business First reports that BGS Homes is expected to finalize the deal by the end of April.
The Summit Park Mall property has few tenants and recently sustained a lot of water damage from what appeared to be thieves who left a hole in the roof.
The Summit has only three major tenants left – Sears, The Bon-Ton and Save-a-Lot leaving a large question about its future as a retail location.
