Canisius welcomes Class of 2016

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Canisius College is welcoming the class of 2016. More than 400 freshmen are moving into the residence halls Wednesday. Now it's time to deck out the dorm rooms and say “goodbye” to mom and dad.

Canisius College Softball Coack Mike Rappl said, “We want to get them in and out. It’s the first time parents are seeing Canisius, so we try to make it a good first impression for them and make it easy for them.”

Student athletes and club members who are already on campus are lending a helping hand to the new freshmen. Classes at Canisius begin on Monday.
