AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - The morning commute took a dangerous turn in Amherst, when a car plowed into a house. Witnesses on the scene say a car narrowly missed a group of children waiting for a bus, when it slammed into a home on High Court. It’s believed the driver suffered a medical condition before the crash.
Homeowner Jack Mimmack said, “And then I looked out the window, and I saw this car practically attached to the house.”
Mimmack explained, “Came out, tried to make sure the gentleman was okay that was in it, and he was not responsive. He was just nodding his head so I knew he was alive.”
The young man was conscious and breathing when he was taken to the hospital. There is no word yet if charges will be filed.
