Car crashes into family room of home

ALLEGANY, N.Y. (WIVB) - A vehicle smashed through the front window of an Allegany home on Tuesday.

The Olean Times Herald reports on the one-vehicle crash had occurred around 2:42 p.m. Authorities have identified the driver as Jones Realty owner Dennis Jones, who reportedly lost consciousness while at the wheel.

The 60-year-old crashed into the home of Abby Gabler, who was just about to take her 21-month-old son into the living room where Jones' vehicle entered the home.

The investigation is now closed and no charges were filed.
