TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - An early morning crash happening around 2 a.m in the Town of Tonawanda damaged the Colvin Highland Barber Shop.

Police say a 19-year-old driver was taken to ECMC after crashing into the building leaving just plywood and crumbled brick.

The owner Tony Pinzone, says the damage could put his shop out of business for quite some time.

"The damage is really bad, I don't know how long I cannot work here. I have a good friend about 20 feet from here who's letting me use his shop," said the owner.

This is the second time a car has crashed into his business. About 15 years ago the same thing happened.

The extent of the drivers injuries are unknown.
