GAINES, N.Y. (WIVB) - An early morning accident on Sunday in the Town of Gaines left one person dead and two injured after a car slammed into a newspaper delivery van.
The accident that was reported by On-Star happened on Route 104 shortly before 3 a.m.
The vehicle driven by 22-year-old Cameron Hess crashed head on with the van in which two delivery men were inside.
Hess was pronounced dead at the scene.
The delivery men, Edward Schneider, 21, and Christopher Swan, 21, both of Medina were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight.
The investigation is ongoing.
