Man trying to beat traffic hit by car

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Canadian man is in critical condition at ECMC with head and internal injuries after he was hit by a car along Southwestern Boulevard in Orchard Park.

Police say 31-year-old Robert Sitter from Hamilton, Ontario was crossing the roadway with friends, trying to beat traffic, when he was struck just before the Buffalo Bills game ended.

No charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
