TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A portion of Niagara Falls Boulevard is shut down following a wild night in the northtowns. Investigators say it all started with a two car crash, around 11 p.m. Thursday. As the drivers were exchanging information, police say a third car, driven by 31-year-old Matt Miller, slammed into both vehicles.
The impact sent a woman flying, then left her pinned under another vehicle. Town of Tonawanda Police say she is at ECMC in stable condition with broken bones and other internal injuries.
Officers say Miller then took off, he was arrested a short time later. He is now charged with DWI and leaving the scene of an accident. Niagara Falls Boulevard between Willow Ridge Drive and Farragut Avenue was closed for several hours overnight.
