BOSTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - New York State Police responded to a crash on Route 219, near Rice Road, Saturday and ended up making two drug arrests. Troopers say they responded to a vehicle that slid off the roadway, and observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Troopers say 22-year-old William G. Rupert, of Lockport, was arrested for seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance in a non original container.
According to troopers, 20-year-old Julie V. Kayutkin, of Wheatfield, was arrested for criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument.
Both Rupert and Kayutkin were issued appearance tickets in Town of Boston Court, to answer charges at a later date.
