EDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 14-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street to school, Tuesday around 7 a.m. The student was struck outside of Eden Junior Senior High School.
The boy was transported by Mercy Flight to Women and Children's Hospital, his injuries are not life threatening. He suffered minor injuries, including a hip injury.
The driver of the vehicle was not a student. The driver was charged with failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
