GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Accident Investigation Unit is looking into a fatal crash that happened in Grand Island just before 1p.m. Sunday afternoon.
56-year-old Barry Vanderbrook of Grand Island was operating the vehicle when he lost control causing him to leave the road and crash into a pole and tree.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crews from the Grand Island Fire Company responded to the scene and extricated the driver from the truck.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation
