HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Ten Lives Club held its 4th Annual Chillin' for the Cats Chili Cookoff at the West End Hotel Sunday afternoon.
About two dozen contestants put together their chili recipes in hopes of winning prizes.
Organizers hoped to bring in 200 people to sample the chili as well as support the clubs mission to rescue cats and give them safe, permanent homes.
Dan Falkenhagen from the Ten Lives Club Fundraiser said, "The people get to come and support the group with their own recipe and everybody can always warm up in the winter with a nice cup chili, so it really works out."
The Ten Lives Club has been busy adopting over 1,300 cats last year alone.
