A Buffalo congregation had an early start on celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day Sunday while enjoying a delicious Irish meal.
Corpus Christi Parish, a staple of the Buffalo’s Polonia community, hosted a corned beef and cabbage dinner
Chef John Moroz was very happy to be among the first this season to serve up the traditional Saint Patrick’s Day meal. “They come, they enjoy dinner. We listen to Irish music and music of other kinds, we drink and be merry, it's Saint Patty's Day,” he said.
Over 200 people were expected to sit down and enjoy this early dinner together. Proceeds from dinner tickets, raffles, and 50/50’s will help support operations at Corpus Christi Church.
