BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo city court judge is in trouble with the state for making offensive comments to a teenage defendant.

The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct has admonished, or firmly warned, Judge James McLeod for speaking in a “crude and offensive manner” to a 17-year-old defendant.

The exchange happened in February 2011, after the teen yelled obscenities at the judge. McLeod has accepted full responsibility for his actions.
