AMHESRST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Different roadways saw congestion around western New York Wednesday morning.

An accident on I-190 South caused congestion beyond Exit 15, Sheridan Drive. NITTEC reports the back up stretches 2.3 miles.

NITTEC reported an accident on the I-290 East ramp to I-990 North just before 8 a.m. The left lane of the ramp had closed. By 8:45 a.m. the area appeared to have cleared. There were also reports of congestion in the area where I-90 East, 219 North and 400 North come together.
