Cops make arrests in heroin bust

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - After a several month long investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin, Jamestown Police made two arrests Monday afternoon. Police say they executed  a search warrant at a home on Barrett Avenue, and found 28-year-old Luis A. DeJesus-Colon and 49-year-old Neftali Cintron inside.

Police say DeJesus-Colon and Cintron were in possession of a quantity of heroin and cash. According to police, they were both charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a  controlled substance and taken to the city jail.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and they expect to make more arrests. Police ask anyone with information on the illegal sales of narcotics in Jamestown to contact the Anonymous Tip line at 483-TIPS.
