ALABAMA, N.Y. (WIVB) - An alleged drunk driver and his two passengers were arrested early Tuesday morning, after the vehicle went off a roadway and into a ditch in the Town of Alabama.
State Police say 26-year-old Barry J. Martin, of Gowanda, crashed his vehicle into a ditch at the corner of Meadville Road and Skye Road at 1:30 a.m. Martin allegedly had a blood alcohol content of .20, which is more than twice the legal limit. Martin was charged with Aggravated DWI.
Police say passenger 30-year-old Jeremiah J. Jacobs, of Niagara Falls, gave a false name to troopers and was arrested. Police say 22-year-old Codi Sundown, of Alabama, had a third-degree assault warrant and was turned over to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department.
