DUNKIRK, NY (WIVB) - The news is not good on the job front in Dunkirk.  The Cott Corp. has pink slipped 20 workers.

The private label beverage firm has offices on Central Avenue Dunkirk and on E. Third Street in Jamestown.

The Dunkirk Observer reported the layoffs and quoted Dunkirk Mayor Anthony J. Dolce as saying, “Again, we're learning about this through employees and when we're dealing with multi-national corporations it makes it very difficult to reach out to people to see what we can do as a city to offer a helping hand. As always we're willing to assist where we can,"

Recently dozens of people were laid off at the Carriage House and Petri's in Silver Creek.
