BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Councilman Darius Pridgen is trying to form a council for one of Buffalo’s troubled neighborhoods. The Fruitbelt is one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, but over the years it has gotten a bad reputation.

The city has been trying to turn it around with new construction and jobs in the area. There is currently no neighborhood organization, Councilman Pridgen is trying to change that Tuesday.
