MARKHAMS, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Cattaraugus County snow plow was involved in a property damage accident on State Route 62, just south of Markhams, around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to New York State Police, 61-year-old Roy Smith, of Randolph, was driving back to the County Highway Barn, when the snow plow started to slide towards a ditch on the east side of the highway. Smith lost control of the vehicle, and it went into the ditch.
Two heavy equipment tow trucks and a county high lift responded to pull the plow out of the ditch. No one was injured in the incident.
