NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - Happy couples are saying “I do,” Thursday on 10/11/12. This anticipated date has love birds flocking to Niagara Falls to get married.
Samantha Smith and Lou Crooker, from Maine, are one of the couples in the 'Honeymoon Capital of the World' Thursday. They got married at the brink of the Falls, at Prospect Point.
Lou Crooker said right after they were pronounced married “It would be our four year anniversary of being together, and we just said 10-11-12, yes!”
Crooker commented on the majestic setting of Falls, “Beautiful spot, surrounded by family, just amazing.”
Samantha Smith said, “It’s just gorgeous here, I was here when I was younger and it’s just amazing, can’t get any better than this. “
According to David’s Bridal, 4,000 brides will get married on 10/11/12.
