Major congestion clears on I-190 South

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Motorists got caught in major backups Tuesday morning on I-190 South. An accident caused congestion on the roadway near Niagara Street.
By 8:50 a.m. the roadway cleared, but earlier in the morning the roadway was jammed from Niagara Street, at Exit 8, to Sheridan Drive, Exit 15. The traffic jam stretched 6.8 miles.
