RUSHFORD, NY (WIVB) - State Police in Allegany County are investigating a fatal two car crash in the Town of Rushford.

Troopers in the Amity barracks report the cars collided Wednesday around 3 p.m. at Route 243 and Route 23 in the Town of Rushford.

A 98-year old woman, Mildred Holzborn, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at Jones Memorial Hospital. The driver of one of the cars, Betty Pollock, 74, was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. All others were treated and released from Jones Memorial.

An investigation is pending.
